Our trip to the Red Centre simply summarised on a single sheet
A photo that…makes my mouth water
with Hot chocolate!
…and did I mention the marsh mallows? 😉
A photo that…makes me laugh or smile
No, there’s nothing funny about a Dump-Ezy, particularly when you discover there’s no automatic pipe like in the picture that takes the contents from the camperbus to the disposal unit…
It has to be done manually…
So… While one person holds up the lid (and try’s to get their nose as far away from the scene as possible) the person who pulled the short straw does the deed ~
There has to be a bit of toilet humour on a camping trip with three sisters 😉
A photo that…makes me dream
And to take my mind as far away from the previous photo as possible…
what could be more dreamy than…
…launching a boat from a deserted tropical beach to… ?
I saw Red Nomad’s pics and loved them. I’m with Andi, the top and bottom pics of or at Uluru are incredible. I love your maps, wish I could draw like that and the East Dump’s hilarious too!
Red Nomad’s travels and photos are soooo inspiring –
She did an Aussie Odyssey on my blog here of her sightings of my Journey Jottings maps on her travels!
She has a great series of public loos in scenic spots around Australia –
Don’t think she’d be too impressed with the view from my dumping station 😉
Not fair! You CAN’T ask us to pick a favourite from those great shots!!! You’ll just have to check on Pinterest to see which ones I chose …
Apologies for the tardiness of my response … I’m on the road again, and have been too knackered from exploring to actually do anything meaningful online!!! Red Nomad OZ recently posted..Silver Bullet Sighting #2 – Bright, Victoria
Haha!!
Thanks so much for tagging me Red –
Fantastic to hear you’re out on the road gathering up more adventurous tales ~
Look forward to reading about them when you come to rest again 🙂
Great 7 shots Vi –
I never knew about Flinders’ cat “Trim’ having his very own statue tucked in behind his master – so cute.
Love the dreamy beach scene, with a coconut in hand, but the receding glacier really was a thought provoker :/
Beautiful photos! These take me back to my trip to your beautiful, amazing country; a place I yearn to visit once again. A trip now would be so amazing, it’s been about -20 here in Alberta, Canada and I see the posts of +35, or in that area, and I want to get on that plane and fly away to your stunning beaches. A girl can dream! 🙂
Hi Darlene ~
Thanks so much for dropping by for a dream visit back Down Under!
I wonder where you visited… we have such a big country like your own its hard to do it all in one trip, so maybe another trip is warranted 😉
The first and last shot are perfection!!!
Thanks Andi ~ I must say they would be my real favourites too –
But with Uluru as a subject, its hard to go wrong!
