Year 12 Graduation Theme
I’ve been contacted by a High School, here in Australia, looking for a year 12 senior school graduation gift for their students.
The theme for their year 12 graduation valedictory is to be:
Dr Seuss’ ‘Oh, the Places You’ll Go’
“Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.”
To mark the start of their students’ new life beyond school they’re honouring the occasion by giving each graduate a Map Journal for tracking their trails and tales in their future life’s journey ~
With a pictorial map to plot places visited, and space to record those special memories along the way…
What a charming symbolic idea marking this special time
as they step out into the big wide world 😉
What a fantastic idea!
Love, love this.
Yes! It’s exciting that some schools see outside the box.
Instead of giving the ubiquitous pewter/glass beaker that has no association with one’s school years, instead choose to celebrate what their years of study have been preparing them for ~ Stepping out into their future 😉
Beautiful and so true! I love this.
It really is a classic isn’t it! 🙂
